Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) is inviting arts and culture supporters within the community to sign up for its Friends of the Festival (FOTF) programme for the chance to experience the best of cinema once again at the 11th edition of DIFF.
Designed to engage the UAEs cultural connoisseurs and cinephiles, the Friends of the Festival programmes overarching objective is to provide a platform that encourages cultural connoisseurs, philanthropists and visionary business leaders within the UAE to contribute to the development of the art of film locally.
Shivani Pandya, Managing Director of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) explains: As we continue to promote the Arab worlds rich culture and distinct identity on a world stage, we are reaching out to the community to enjoy our Friends of the Festival initiative to help us support and accelerate the future of film in the region. And as part of our engagement with them, we want to offer them an exclusive experience at DIFF, with the opportunity to rub shoulders with film professionals, celebrities and artists at the festival.
She continued: The Friends of the Festival programme has grown exponentially over the last few years with the encouragement from the community and is a significant foundation for arts funding in the region.
Friends of the Festival packages are now available in five exclusive tiers – DIFF Platinum Partner, DIFF Gold Circle or Silver, Patron of DIFF and DIFF Supporter. Friends receive exclusive access to the opening and closing nights, film screenings, engaging workshops and leading industry professionals at the Dubai Film Market.
